- C&H® Light Brown Sugar ½ cup ½ cup C&H® Light Brown Sugar
- ¼ teaspoon Fresh ginger, grated (optional) ¼ teaspoon Fresh ginger, grated (optional)
- Ground cinnamon, for garnish Ground cinnamon, for garnish
Instructions
Step 1
Add apples, water, lemon juice, sugar, and ginger to a large pot. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes or until apples are soft.
Step 2
Mash apples using a potato masher. Let cool and serve. Garnish with ground cinnamon.
Chef's Tip
Applesauce can be stored in the refrigerator up to 1 week.
