Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups C&H® Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons root beer concentrate
  • 1 to 2 liters unflavored seltzer, cold
  • ice cubes (optional)

Instructions
Yields: 2 quarts root beer

Place sugar and water into a medium saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
 

Remove from heat; add root beer concentrate. Stir and let cool completely before refrigerating.
 

Store root beer syrup in an airtight container in fridge until ready to use.
 

To serve, place syrup in a 2-quart pitcher. Slowly add seltzer until desired taste. Add ice and serve.
