Ingredients
    For the sweet cream foam
  • 1/2 cup Heavy whipping cream

  • ¼ cup Half and half
  • 2 tablespoons C&H® Turbinado Sugar

    For the chai tea latte
  • 2 cups Water 

  • 4 bags Chai tea
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 1 Star anise
  • 2 tablespoons C&H® Turbinado Sugar

Prep Time: 5 minutes / Yields: 2 servings
Step 1

In a small saucepan, bring water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the tea bags, cinnamon stick, and star anise. Let the mixture steep for 15 minutes. Remove the tea bags, cinnamon, and star anise from the mixture. Bring the mixture to a simmer. Add sugar and mix until dissolved. Pour mixture into 2 cups. 

Step 2

Prepare a sweet cream cold foam by blending all the ingredients together in a blender or using an immersion blender. Process for 30-45 seconds, do not overmix. Pour mixture over tea. Garnish with ground cinnamon and star anise. 

Additional Tips

If you want to use milk instead of sweet cream foam, froth 1 cup of warm milk using an immersion frother and pour over tea.
