  • 1/3 cup C&H® Turbinado Cane Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
  • Pinch Salt

Step 1

Place all the ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring mixture to a simmer, stir occasionally. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes until blackberries become soft and juices have thickened slightly. Serve warm.

Use compote over pancakes, waffles, yogurt, cakes, or ice cream.
