Vanilla Cream Cheese Frosting
about 4 cups frosting
- 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 pinch regular salt
- 3 1/2 cups C&H® Confectioners Sugar
In bowl of stand mixer fitted with paddle attachment, beat cream cheese and vanilla together on medium speed until smooth, about 3 minutes. Add butter and salt; beat, scraping bowl as necessary, until mixed.
Reduce mixer speed to low and gradually add the sugar, beating until blended. Increase mixer speed to high and beat until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
Set aside until ready to use.
