Streusel Topping

Use on top of fruit pies instead of a top crust.


about 2 1/2 cups topping


  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups C&H® Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon lemon rind, grated


In a mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar. Work butter and lemon rind into flour mixture until it resembles coarse meal.

Sprinkle on top of fruit pies.
