Made with light rum and fresh strawberries, and prepared with delicious C&H® Quick Dissolve Superfine Sugar, this classic poolside cocktail is an essential summer staple.

  • 2 tablespoons C&H® Quick Dissolve Superfine Sugar
  • 1 lime wedge
  • 1 to 1 1/2 ounces light rum
  • 1 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 ounce orange-flavored liqueur
  • 4 to 6 ripe strawberries, washed, hulled and halved
  • 3 to 4 ice cubes
  • lime slice and whole strawberry (for garnish)
Instructions

Step 1

Spread 1 tablespoon of sugar evenly on a saucer. Rub rim of large goblet with lime wedge, then dip in saucer of sugar to coat rim. 

Step 2

Add remaining 1 tablespoon sugar, rum, lime juice, orange-flavored liqueur, strawberries and ice cubes to blender. Process until smooth.

Serve

Serve garnished with lime slice and whole strawberry on rim of glass.
