Grilled Fresh Pineapple

A fired up grill and a sprinkling of sugar is all you need for this refreshing summer dessert.


  • 1 fresh pineapple, ripened
  • 1/4 cup C&H® Pourable Golden Brown Sugar


Peel, core and slice the pineapple into 2-inch slices.

Place slices on a lightly oiled grill. Grill on medium heat for 2 minutes on each side. Return to the first grilled side and sprinkle with sugar. Close top of grill and allow the sugar to melt and caramelize.  

Carefully remove onto a plate in a single layer. When cooled, cut into wedges. Serve immediately.
