YIELDS
about 1 1/2 cups
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup almonds, finely ground
- 1/2 cup oatmeal, ground
- 1/2 cup C&H® Dark Brown Sugar or C&H® Light Brown Sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup almond oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- container(s) with lid
INSTRUCTIONS
Place all ingredients in a bowl and, with a spatula, blend until it becomes a thick paste. If it is too dry, add more oil, a few drops at a time. If it is too oily, add more dry ingredients until you reach the desired consistency.
Transfer mix into containers; secure lids. Contents will settle; mix before using.
To Use:
Scoop a teaspoon or two of the scrub into your hands; gently massage in circular motions onto moist skin. Rinse well. Your skin will be smooth and soft!
Sugar scrubs are not recommended for the face. Avoid using on sensitive areas, on cuts or skin that is irritated or sunburned.
Store in jars for up to 2 weeks in refrigerator.

Cut out tags and attach to your gifts!
QUICK TIP
Put a small amount of the scrub on the inside of your wrist to test for allergic reaction before using.
Be sure to clean your shower or bathtub thoroughly after using, as the oil in the scrub may cause surfaces to become slippery.
Have fun creating your own signature body scrub by experimenting with various scents from essential oils like grapefruit, lavender or peppermint, found in specialty markets or crafts stores.
