- 2 pounds strawberries, quartered
- ½ cup crème de cassis
- ¾ cup C&H® Golden Brown Sugar
- 1 tablespoon fresh mint, chopped
Place strawberries in a large bowl, add crème de cassis and mix. Pour in sugar and stir to incorporate all the ingredients.
Let the mixture rest for at least 30 minutes or up to 1 hour before serving. Garnish with chopped mint.
Chef's Tip: For a more elegant presentation, serve strawberries in a martini glass and top each serving with a couple of fresh mint leaves.
For a special kick of flavor, marinate the strawberries with a tablespoon of chopped mint. Do not use more or the mint will take over.
