This traditional White Wedding Cake Icing is a variation of a buttercream icing. It differs in that it is more dense andhas a glossier appearance than a traditional buttercream icing. Since this is an all shortening icing it would hold up well on wedding cakes which are to be displayed outdoors in warmer weather. Store remaining White Wedding Cake Icing in the refrigerator. Before using, bring to room temperature.
